rock's characteristics

This time my theme is rock's characteristics . Rock music impress me as music that rock singers take out their feeling on society. I had a vague image about rock music,and I want to know  "what is rock music ?". So I'm not only going to write about rock's characteristics but also rock music's definition.

I think instruments is one of rock music's characteristics. The instruments is electric guitar and bass and drum. And some rock musician play electronic organ, synthesizer, computer sound. Some artists play instruments as contrabass and violin.  I think that the instruments can extend the region of music, for example, guitar and bass can play various sounds by link these to amplifier.Using the instruments and machinery, one of rock music's characteristics,  can give music "distortion" and "make an impression". And many rock musician team bands. This musical form is one of rock music's characteristics. Right then,"Rock music is violent music"? Many people might think so. But rock music contain tender music. If so, what is rock music? what is rock music's definition?

Almost rock music is composed by rock musician. The first period,  mainly, rock music expressed resistance to and rage against stereotype and system. That is to say, it had the meaning of existence as counter culture. Although rock's movement appeared as outlaw in the first period, presently, as rock music is popular, it confirmed popularity and was mainstream by contraries. And what's more, new counter culture appeared to the rock music, new rock genre appeared. I think to be able to say that, in brief, rock is music as counter culture. Rock music's word is both complex representation and straight word. Rock musician not only want to listen melody but also word that they appeal. So, rock music need not especially violent music and contain tender melody. Rock music seems that many young men like it.I think that the reason is that they sympathize with rock music's word. They may sympathize with rock music's word for impatient about society

By the way, rock music has characteristics melody. In a case of rock, allotment note of melody's sound contain many syncopation. This allotment note characterize rock music's melody. And, using chord in rock music compound mainly three or four note. And, rock mainly is 2beat, 8beat, or 16beat.
Anyway, rock music's sounds have mainly stormy beat. Another, for one of rock music's
characteristics, it repeat same phrase. As I wrote a little while ago, rock musician want to express theirself storong emotions, so I think that they repeat same phrase.Rock music is element instruments is important. For example, in rock band's live, the only guitarist play between musics. In a case of this, the guitarist play mainly solo note very fast. The performance arouse the audience at the concert to enthusiasm.

Thus, rock music fascinate people in various charactristics.
